Clinical Trial Success Through Patient Engagement
Clinical development is undergoing change. Disruption is being fueled by a number of factors, including the quick pace of scientific and technical advancements, the emergence of personalised medicine and patient participation, rising R&D expenses, and more scrutiny from regulators and payers trying to control healthcare costs. Additionally, the patient today is more educated, digitally connected, and socially engaged than ever before. Patients are requesting acknowledgment, respect, and consultation on what matters to them in their relationships with healthcare because they are no longer content to remain subservient.
